That piece bolts to the stock 6 volt starter that won't fit your truck and won't work at all with your stock starter.
If you want to pretend to have a foot starter you have to get one of the tractor starter pedals as I posted the link to in post 3 drill a hole in the right spot of the floor to stick it up from the bottom (hold just big enough for the round part) connect a hot wire of the appropriate gauge to one side and a wire to the S pole on the starter on the other side and it will start with your foot. Same exact method that some guys are using on their AD trucks when they swap engines and can no longer use the stomp pedal starter. For them it is to have it look and work pretty much as it did, not have to change ignition switches and not have to put a push button in the dash.
