Re: Project 1971 C10 SWB sidestep

The papers state that it is a 1971 truck. The grille and hood are from a 1969-1970 model. This truck has no side markers and I think it is far from original. I knew that when I bought it, I don't care about originality. I have searched here on the forum for the legenda of the chassis numbers, but there are several of them in circulation. For the time being, it should be a 1971 according to the chassis number. That starts with CE241F ...... but correct me if I'm wrong! I will take a closer look at the difference between 1969-1970 and 1971-1972 models. The cabin carpet will go out for floor repairs anyway, then I'll see if I can screw studs into the bottom. I still have to get to know the truck, but that is also part of the fun, besides driving. I also have a 1968 Alfa Romeo and my experience is that, if you have a classic Alfa Romeo that drives .......... all other car brands are not so bad ......

If the truck is registered I can drive it and at home on a 4 column lift bridge. if that fits ............ garage is limited, that's why I wanted a shortbed too.
