I have not heard of anyone making one out of steel or aluminum. Page 40 of Truckandcarshop's catalog has both 60-63 and 64-66 counterpart replacement pedals.

On my 63, I used a squarebody pedal. I had to bend it a bunch to make it work, and I'm still not too happy with the placement of it. The 71-72 pedal is a much better option, so at some point, I will switch over to that one. It is because of the way the squarebody pedal kicks back towards the trans up rather than going straight down like on the 71-72s
