It does sound like the Eaton...
Normally... if your truck is a V8 Auto.. the ratio is most likely 4:10.... A few of the 69 Big Block trucks had a 3:54..
The only way to know for sure what your ratio is....is to clean off the pumkin and look for the "Axle code" which will be stamped into the housing
