Hi everyone. It’s been a while but I’m back with a new project. My son just picked up his first truck. It’s a 1984 K10 extended cab. I’m not sure who did the body work as there is no tag (I know that at least two custom companies were building these when new). From what I can tell it was originally a 6.2 diesel regular cab. It now has a 350TBI (not running). We trailered it home today and started looking it over. So far I have noticed that when the key is on the drivers side fuel pump (dual tanks) continuously runs, and we have no spark (engine does turn over well).
The wiring leaves a lot to be desired. I am considering removing the TBI and going back to a carb for now. It does need some body work, but we wanted to get it running and driving first. I’m having issues adding photos...can’t seem to get them from my IPad to a hosting site...[IMG]
