My '69 C10 had the stock electrical temp sending unit on the 6 cyl, and the wire to it was green, with the funky little sideways plug on it. I plan to hook it to the sending unit that came in my '84 SB, which has the spade plug, so I guess I'll need to put a new end on the wire.
FYI, I'm planning to keep the electrical temp setup for the idiot light (no gauge package), and run a mechanical sending unit from the SB's thermostat housing for the underdash gauges. The housing has 2 extra holes from all the smog crap (which has strangely come up missing?!?!?), so it should allow me to run both.
Keep at it...I'm watching your progress, and about 20 steps behind you...
