Welcome. That's a really cool story - except the part about your dad having cancer. Here are my recommendations, in order:

1 - Safety: brakes, tires, lights, seat belts, steering; anything that has to do with keeping you safe.
2 - Reliability: tuning, maintenance, etc.; anything that has to do with making sure the truck gets you where you're going and back.
3 - Comfort - seats, heat, etc.; anything that makes it more comfortable to get there and back.
4 - Appearance - paint, trim, etc.; anything that looks pretty or shiny, but doesn't fit in one of the other categories.
