Ohh yes it’s about a 3-4 times a month event at my house. My wife works at valley trading post in Waterflow, between the Hogback and Kirtland. I’m sure you know the one... the old Texaco right off the side of 64 east. Anywho she gets mutton at a pretty good discount. Being Navajo I’m pretty sure she’d die without it! I’m not a huge mutton fan, usually I take to opportunity the indulge in dominoes or something else nice and healthy of the sort. As long as she’s happy!
That 505 hatch is decent. We use it on breakfast burritos in a pinch. When we lived in Virginia I used to buy a couple of the frozen bricks of hatch and stash it in my checked bags on the plane. Even in the summer time it will stay frozen enough to be safe to eat. Hell I bet I could ship you some with dry ice... A New Mexican without green Chile is cause for great struggle!
