Factory for that 4l80e is the rad plus an auxiliary cooler in front of the rad
If auxiliary only I would suggest a very large one that would be close or larger then what originally came with that transmission
Depending on year of transmission coolant lines close together or one at front one at rear newer style
Newer style has a long tube at back off fitting transmission to provide lubrication
Newer style also has oring fitting not npt
Npt to an fittings may crack the case
