I had the new aluminum radiator now in the 71 C10 for 5 year and I run through it and external in front of the it. No problems at all. 6.0 LS with 4L80E. Does great.
Ran this same setup on the old 305 TPI with 700R4 and it had over 300,000 on it when I pulled the motor & trans.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
