1. No it is normal. If I push the pedal all the way down to the floor it changes my idle. It simply uses more engine vacuum - 4-5 times all the way down will uses alot of vacuum. That would change your idle.

2. Rebuilt brake booster is not much less than a new booster. Just get a new one.

3. Only brand I know is raybestos and they do make some good quality products.

4. Less than $100

5. I imagine that if you if that the wrench that fits is metric than it is metric. Standard is standard (SAE). Why do you have to buy as a set?

6. A new master cylinder isn't a whole lot more than a rebuilt one.
