It's Phil, right? I would just send an email to Early Classic Enterprises. Those folks are really decent people and very much prone to offering advice. The have save me money, before I ever spent any money with them.
The brackets you write about, raise the profile of the sway bar about an inch, bringing it closer to the frame horns. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work with a stock height suspension. The only thing different on mine, is the spindles. They lowered the front of the truck by 2.5 inches. The brackets simply give more ground clearance. I don't see how they can have any negative effect at all.
