His 8-3/7 x 1 inch deep for 7 inch lights should just come out even with the edge of the bulb much like welding a plain healight ring on a fender.

Those rings should end up looking pretty close to the ones on Paul Harper's 41 Ford.

I can't find a photo of an AD truck with the look.

This burgundy 41 that was at the same event in 2005 had 53 Merc headlight rings to show the difference.

Or what about a 55 Chevy car ring and eyebrow that you can buy as a patch panel.
