You could turn it upside down.
Make it so the vent opens the oposite way (flip the housing).
Swap the vent from left to right side?
It's doubtful you can have it the way it is and work properly. Something has to give.
Or just seal the vent and turn the handle around so it would "look" like you had one.
Those are the options I can think of short of doing away with it altogether or moving the fuse panel.
