Right now, in the USA we only have enough electric capacity and infrastructure to supply 10% of the current transportation needs. That would be if we went 100% EV and used all the available electricity for nothing else but transportation.
So, lets say we adopt the General Motors approach and went 100% EV by 2035. That would give us just 14 years to increase our available electricity by 9X what it is today. This fact is very rarely mentioned by the media or EV vehicle enthusiasts.
If you believe EVs are the path we will take, consider investing in these technologies; Hydrogen fuel cells, Nuclear energy and any power delivery infrastructure manufactures.
