I'd love to see one. The 292 L6, RPO# L25, did not get a lot of promotion on the dealer floor. The guys with the white buck shoes and plaid pants were preoccupied with the 350/350 and tried to sell it to everybody.
Most buyers who knew what they wanted and insisted on the L25 option, tended to be buying fleets of trucks for their railroad, municipality, fire district...whatever. Most 292s were in work trucks, so no frills for the 'help'.
It's very hard to find a K/5 with an L25 option. L22 was the basic package [250 L6], but
I don't want to rule out the possibliity of a production 292 in a Jimmy, Blazer or Cheyenne. I believe in them. I really do.
They're out there, like Fox Mulder's "Truth" -- just obscured by the mists that the herd of purple unicorns kick up, just beyond the Mirage...

Every 25 years I like to rebuild that 292, whether it needs it or not.
