A good friend of mine bought a '55 Chevy short-step from a redneck years ago.
How do I know the previous owner was a redneck?
When we went to fixing the cab corners....we pulled several old Pabst Blue Ribbon cans out of the hole. These were the 'steel'-type cans that required a can opener to open them (pre-pop tab days)...so we knew that the repair was done a long time ago. The beer cans (along with copious amounts of newspaper) were used as 'backing' for the bondo.
