I have a '96 Tahoe too! Great car. I bought it about 4-years ago with 39,000 miles on it. Mine started running bad one time and it was the fuel pump. Very expensive to have fixed! The next thing was the EGR-Valve. Easy to fix but the part was expensive (> $200.00). Other than that, no problems. It has 75,000 miles now (not bad for an 8-year old car). I don't know how people afford the new ones. List price for an LT like mine is $ 47,000.00. Whew!
