Looks like a nice truck.

I don't have the Detroit steel wheels or an S10 frame but I do have 20x8.5" wheels and it's a tight fit. With the 255/40/20 tire there's about 1/2" clearance to the edge of the fender and the same amount to the bed side.

I would think a 9" wheel on a truck that sits much lower than mine would be a problem. I'm in Salem and you can come take a look if that helps.
