I run a 700R4 and am running a throttle rod on my setup. I used the original gas pedal assembly at the firewall (same as yours) but then used a swedged aluminum throttle rod with heim joints from there to carb. Purchased the aluminum rod and heim joints at Speedway. For the throttle heim joints, you would get a right and left hand thread so you can easily adjust. Don't forget the jam nuts!
