More progress! I spent yesterday removing the core support and engine from the ‘87. No real issues noted, everything seems to be in good condition so far. I did take a peek down the distributor hole and unfortunately found that I do not have a roller cam compatible block. Oh well!
Core support removed, and starting to unbolt accessories.
My trusty engine lift plate that I made from a snowmachine brake rotor when I was probably around 16…I’ve had this for a lot of years!
Engine is out!
