Welcome to Colorado!

I registered mine as a classic vehicle. That allows you to bypass the emissions test, and I think the license plate and registration is good for 5 years if I remember correctly. Check out the DMV website for more details. You can also use 1970 CO truck license plates if you register them.

Not sure on the exhaust question...
