Re: Name change time?

So glad everyone was safe, but a gut wrenching loss for sure.

Im reminded of a situation that happened here in Socal during a wildfire that torched many homes, but at least one classic car had a happier ending. I wish I could find the photo I’m thinking of, but google images skunked me…

Anyhow, it was a wildfire, not a spontaneous in home fire, everyone was packing and fleeing the neighborhood. The aftermath showed most of the homes in a cul de sac were burned to the ground. At the bottom of the driveway, at one of the destroyed homes, out in the street was an intact classic car (can’t recall what vehicle it was exactly). It stood in stark relief of the charred destruction which surrounded it. I guess there were fewer drivers available than cars (or probably no motor in it) but they had the forethought and wherewithal to get it out of the garage, off the driveway, and into the street of the cul de sac. A small consolation for someone whose house had burned to the ground. More than most get in that circumstance.

Congrats on finding a worthy replacement…very cool rig that is!
