Welcome! I am in the Denver area too. I have found that you have to do a VIN/Title check and then a emissions test unless you register as a collectors/classic vehicle.
I have used Exhaust Pros in Northglenn/Westminster for some work on another car of mine and they did good work at reasonable prices. I plan to take my truck there after putting in back together, to have them put new exhaust on.
