Then pick your poison with lowering options. Shackles, which I did on my ‘70 GMC C2500 Sierra Grande to get less rake and that worked great for that 3/4 ton truck.

If you want less than a 7” drop in the rear then you need to just suck it up and buy springs. IMO, 2” more drop in back than in front works good. So if you want to lower the back 4” with springs then do 2” in the front with springs or 2 1/2” spindles. 5” in the rear would work as well if you stagger your tire height.

I run 27” fronts and 29” rears on my 4 1/2”- 7” drop.
