On 71 and 72 trucks the hole in the frame is further back. I think that's why you can run a slightly shorter hose. The new hoses showed up yesterday and look like the perfect length. They are stainless with a black rubber coating. They don't look out of place at all. These are 25" overall length. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
