I think your numbers are a bit high. I had the Dana 44 and 60 axles along with the 205 transfer case in my Ford gone through 4 or 5 years back for $2800 and that included shortening the front axle and converting to disc brakes. I have a set of 17.5 inch factory wheel that were $250 plus $500 for tires.
The engine wasn't rebuilt and no mention of transmission being rebuilt so there is maybe 2 days labor and $4-$500 in parts.
I'm pretty confident that that truck could be replicated by many non- celebrity shops around the nation for $30_$35k.
