I'll try that. I really don't want to tear it out. The flooring is only a few years old. But it looks terrible when it's all dull.

I don't want it slippery either. Years ago I had a cleaning lady and I don't know what she used to clean the shower but it was like ice when she was done. I slipped and cracked a rib once trying to get out.
