I run AMSOIL Z-Rod 10w30 in my '74. I also used AMSOIL Break-in oil when I rebuilt the engine, no issues, no leaks and no consumption. Everything AMSOIL makes is full synthetic.

Another alternative to Z-Rod that also has higher levels of zinc would be AMSOIL Premium Protection 10w40.
