Here is a picture installed. Note: No drilling was required it goes through an existing hole. I believe the hole is originally for the rubber plug that retains the firewall insulation.
If you require a transmission kick down it can be installed on the bracket on the inside of the vehicle. They are a lot less expensive than the older ones attached to the carburetor.
Don't forget to purchase a plug assortment to plug the original hole. +
I used an aftermarket custom cable. Because of this I had to make an adapter where the cable went through, the eye on the end, to retain the end of the cable or it would just pull through.
If using a stock cable this wouldn't be necessary.
