I have the dual voice coil speaker by CA also, sounds awful. I'm thinking of just taking it out and going with something behind the seat between the gas tank and the corners. With A/C there is not much room to put anything decent in the stock mounting position. At least I have some 6X9's in the doors (cut by PO).
