The edelbrock has two sets of holes so you can install it on either a Holley style intake or a Q jet intake. The Torquer intake is not that great, the Victor Jr. is actually better since you get a lot of top end but dont lose much bottom end, the standard ports arent that big so it doesnt lose very much velocity. It can be ported quite a bit to use better heads and cams though. The Performer RPM and RPM Air Gap would be the best compromise though. I am using a RPM with a 600 cfm Carter and a 1105 Summit cam kit on my 350 that is otherwise stock except for roller rockers and stud girdles. It works well even if its in a 3/4 ton truck with a three on the tree.
