Ok guys, I appreciate the comments on the dual voice coil speaker. I was thinking about getting one but really wondered if they were any good. Sounds like they aren't, and they probably couldn't handle the type of power I want to put through them anyway.

I like the idea of using two quality speakers mounted in a bracket of some description. Does anyone have dimensions or other specifics on how to make such a bracket, and how to secure it and the speakers under the speaker grill so that it doesn't rattle, or get in the way of the head unit and A/C outlet? Pics would be great, but yeah, I know...almost impossible.
