Well as if I did'nt have enough problems with this system. Three days, count 'em, 3 before I am ready to leave for Texas the damn compressor decides to leave it's innards and deposit them throughout the system!! Seems that the Sanden compressor decided to let go of one of the 5 connecting rods at the attaching point on the recip. plate and hammered the thing to pieces. Now I have to flush, flush, flush--vacuum, vacuum, vacuum and hopefully get it running before Thursday. On a good note and a shot in the arm for Old Air, after searching extensively here in th L.A. area for a replacement compressor with no luck I did finally call Old Air and they will "UPS red" me a new compressor and replacement drier and "O" rings for much cheaper that I could have purchased one locally! GOt to love those Texans All things considered it's a good thing it happened now instead of in the middle of Arizona!
