My cousin Vinny called to tell me about a very special 1967 Z28 C10. It was built for Roger Rabbit, a GM executive. The truck was picked up on April 1st, 1967 by Roger's wife Jessica.

I decided to do a little research just to see what I could find. My wife said that I was a fool for hunting for information on the truck after all these years. But I was determined to look under every rock.

My research determined that this special C10 was equipped with a hopped up GM 302 small block with Munchy 4 speed. For eggstra stopping power it was equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes. Rolling stock consisted of 15” Rally Wheels with G-70 Furstone red stripe tires.

Dual white Z28 paint stripes wrapped across the hood and rear spoiler, accenting the Robin Egg Blue paint.

The last owner on record was Peter C. Tail, a basket weaver who lived at 2022 Bunny Trail off the coast of Easter Island. The trail runs cold here.

At least I proved to my wife once and for all that I was no fool!
