Hello everyone, just wanted to give an update.

I've been loving the ignition system change, really a set it and forget it system.

One thing that increased the life of the MSD distributor was dissasembly, a thorough cleaning and paint with GRC Cold Galvinized paint. I was looking for a way to stem off the rust that plagues distributors with time. I found it, 5 years and counting for no rust or oxydization!

Don't forget to loctite the scews on MSD rotors, it got me one day...

Also, a member of the forum asked about an HEI distributor, with the K10 and the K20 trucks the engine sits far enough back that when off roading the firewall will hit and crack the cap. Not so much fun when on the Rubicon, many many hours from any parts stores.
