I know this is an old thread but thought I'd resurrect and share my completed project. Spent 1.5 years on a frame off plus the interior build out. For those of you 60 or over and grew up in SoCal, no explanation is required.
Those that didn't, Helms bakery used panel trucks to deliver all over SoCal from 1930 thru end of the 1960s.
