I just saw another post on this site and checked a few other web sites out to investigate what type of rearend my truck has. Someone else referred to it as an Eaton rearend. Apparently they are not as common as some other rearends used in the C20. Mine has 10 bolts, looks like a big pumpkin. is round and has a round cover, and appears to have a a one piece differential and axle housing. The rear cover has a plug about half way up the cover.
