I hear that the front clip pretty much is attached as mostly a modular unit. The aftermarket drop members are quite pricey and most only have provisions for coilover or airbag specific mounts. I would like the option to run it just like a factory 2wd blazer. With the factory arms etc. I would have the choice to run springs and shocks, coilovers with stock arms or air ride with cups.

I think there are 7 bolts that attach the front suspension to the frame. Take out those 7 bolts and you can have everything that disconnects from the frame for $50.

If it were me though, I would consider something from a 71-72 so you can have disc brakes. 1970 was still drums up front.
