I may be buying a '72 C-60 firetruck from a local fire department this fall when they get their new tanker truck. The truck has a 427 td with 4bbl, 5speed trans, 2 spd rear end, and air brakes!!! It only has 17,000 miles on it and has been stored in the temp. controlled fire house since new, and yes the interior is red. It's in immaculate condition, my dad and I were thinking about yanking off the aluminum tank and 1500gph pump and putting a custom flatbed on the back to haul 1-2 cars.
