When swapping starts you need to remember to count the teeth on the starter's Bendix .
Yes, there's a Delco 12 solenoid starter that's made for your truck, looks for 1959 1/2 ton with automatic .
I no longer remember the flywheel teeth counts but this is very important and the starters change Bendix teeth when changing from 6 to 12 volts .
There used to be an IGC Bendix that would mesh with the Chevy's 6 volt flywheel .
