my drivers door has the adjustment screw just under the vent window to, i assume, keep the sill from spreading. the pass side has no screw (or indent for one) but does have the "tab" inside. it is spreading a little. to do a 1 piece side window conversion, what do i do with the screw in the drivers door? i have an article in some mag that has a crew doing the conversion on a sub, but it is the tab (no screw) sytle door. and this article shows the crew cutting out the tab. won't this allow the sill to spread?

do i have different year doors? is there a way to convert the screw door? has anyone run into this and found a solution?
