So, looking at the car side to side noticed that the right outer door shell is slightly bowed at the top. Thinking that’s contributing a bit to the window to door skin gap (aka, canyon) found while fitting the door glass on the right side.

Moved the car out from underneath the lift, prepping to pull all the front sheet metal again. The plan is to box it all back up for the next round of part fittings. Here’s a pic of the spot dedicated to storing the extra hood and trunk lid (wall art?). Seems to be working these last few months, should also accept the other hood and spoiler trunk lid when not on the car. My only concern is the Stinger hood is noticeably heavier than the SS hood.
