I have a 1970 C/10 short box with a trail arm suspension. I put a 72 Blazer gas tank in the frame rails. All I had to do is cut the frame back a bit. I will not be towing with the truck. For the fill neck I used the inside cover and fill neck from the same Blazer. I cut a hole in the inside of the box thru the floor and thru the top of the fill nech. Then cut the fill neck in half, rotate and reweld it. It fits in the box perfict and all I have to do is open the tail gate and fill from the inside. Leaving me a totally smooth truck.
