I used Early Classic's kit to lower mine 4.5/6 & the ride is great. I've bottomed out in the front, driving like a jack-a@@ over very rough roads and I think the only reason that happened is because I'm running a short diameter front tire on a 15" rim. With ECE you can get a dropped spindle that will accept the stock 1970 tie rods & ball joints. If you already have the 2" dropped springs up front, just get their dropped spindle and disc brake kit, or you can piece the disc brakes together using 71-87 stuff. As far as the back is concerned get their 6" drop kit that comes with springs, shocks, shock relocators, and super panhard bar. While I had mine apart, I went ahead and changed the trailing arm bushings over to poly-urethane pieces which also came from ECE. I have had no complaints with the ride or the service I have gotten from ECE. And tell Dave or Stan that Steve from Louisiana says Hello, and is saving up for his next purchase from them.
