When I first built the truck back in 2017, I had to remove the carrier bearing cross member when I went to a 1-piece driveshaft. Decided it was time to replace it with something to help tie the frame together a little better, and at the same time reduce some flex.



Started with some angle for the frame brackets:







Tubing cut to length and ready to be tacked in place:







Melting it all together:

Painted up and installed:











With it being mounted below the frame, it clears the exhaust and driveshaft with plenty of room to spare. With the 1" height, it also remains above the lowest point on the pickup.
