If you use the 69-72 truck brackets like my picture shows, there is nothing that bolts to the header, so no aftermarket brackets required. Everything bolts to the head. I use these brackets on all of the street rods I build. They are still available new from GM if you really wanted nice ones.
I don't like aftermarket brackets myself. GM for me.

My mistake, I had a rough night. I did not mention that other brackets are for older heads that do not have accs. holes. I meant no harm TX, I will edit post OK?
