I change all the bushings, then set the cab weight down and start checking for alignment to bed, fenders, bumper, etc. If it needs shims, I install them, then start tightening the bolts. I don't torque them anymore. I tighten until the bushing start to squish. It seems like torqueing them squishes the bushing too much.
