A local dude Cade cut the notches for me on his plasma plasma cut table.

Today I got to lay the notches out on the truck. I am totally guessing on the notch size. I would rather the notch be a little bigger than not enuff. The top of the axle tube should be close to the top of the original frame when it’s all seats and Done. That will allow close to 5 inches of rear suspension “crush” more than I should need but I want to be able to carry parts and not worry about bottoming out.

Based on my math if the rear was to bottom out on the notch the rear of cab would be about 3 inches off the ground. (Not figuring tire sidewall flex) I always like to think if I sell the truck and the. Next guy wants to “bag” it the truck will can go lower than I ever expected.
