I had to cut the pedal end of the new to fit into the firewall anyway.
Laid it out on chip board and traced it. Then put the old pedal arm down and sloooooowly ground and filed down until they mated. Pinned, then tapped the pin holes. Counter sunk screws. Less than 1/16" inch movement thru stroke. Took an entire weekend. I hate it when I come up with these screwy ideas, only to spend hundreds of hours building.
Still beats the best day at work though.
